Lindsey Parslow

Lindsey Parslow MD Mayfair Quarters

Lindsey came up with the idea for Mayfair Quarters (formerly Hedge Fund Net) whilst working in the London Mayfair-based offices of two large American Hedge Funds. Having project managed the set-up of these offices, she became aware of the huge divide between the discounts, rates and benefits available to large corporates and what is available to smaller organizations such as Hedge Funds. This seemed wrong to her! By bringing together the combined purchasing power of a small number of funds, Lindsey used her negotiating skills to achieve high-level corporate discounts with a range of international hotels including this hotel. The service was very well received in the industry and the idea quickly took off. Today, several hundred funds and small businesses in many other sectors also benefit from discounts that now extend to airlines, hotels, ground transport, private aviation, IT, telecoms, computers, stationery, printing, leisure and entertainment. And the service doesn’t end there. In addition, her business provides a unique opportunity for companies to outsource their procurement and also allow their employees, in most instances, to benefit from the discounts and savings for personal use. Rebranding the business as Mayfair Quarters, reflects the broader popularity of its growing client base, whilst retaining a nod to its geographical origins as discount champion of the Mayfair-based London Hedge Fund industry. Also, it is timed to coincide with the launch of a new New York based service, tailored for customers with a US presence. I have to say "Lindsey Parslow is one of the most inspiring women I have met. She has used a gentle, feminine strength to overcome and create an effective business empire. As if that is not tiring enough, she also has five children. She is kind and generous and she pays it forward.
